Here's the tools I use when developing the search engine and debugging my own webpages.

Tools

The Page Fetch Tool will show you what happens when you webpage is fetched, including the headers.

The HTML Parse Tool can be used to run the different types of html parsing functions of the search engine on a select piece of code for debugging.

The Search Engine Dashboard gives an inside view of how the search engine works, a real time view of what is being fetched, indexed and added.
